Muchenje Lodge is located to the northeast corner of the Forest Reserve in Chobe National Park in Northern Botswana.
This relatively high specification camp comprises ten wooden chalets and a central mess overlooking the Linyanti floodplains.
The 50km of Chobe waterfront east from Muchenje to the town of Kasane offers some of the most solid game-viewing in Africa, especially elephant. The problem is traffic, but since almost all of this emanates from the Kasane side, this lodge offers one of the smartest ways to access this wonderful wildlife area. Motorboat safaris along the Chobe waterfront are a particular highlight.
