Chobe Under Canvas is located around 35km to the west of the town of Kasane in Chobe National Park in northern Botswana.
This is a very high quality tented camp, very professionally run and elegantly delivered. It operates vehicle safari during daylight hours and a motorboat out on the Chobe river.
This may be a far from being a pristine safari area, with a good deal of through traffic and close proximity to civilisation, but given the very elevated prices of the higher rated private concession camps in the country, Chobe Under Canvas offers a genuinely decent and slightly lower cost alternative.
