Tau Pan Camp is located inside the Central Kalahari reserve in central Botswana.
June to October this area is very dry and with a relatively light covering of desert game, so serving as a great contrast to the vibrant waterworld of the Okavango.
November to May the rains turn the desert green and huge numbers of animals migrate into the area from Okavango.
This high specification permanent tented is due to open in March 2009. It is under the same ownership as Lebala, Lagoon and Kwara camps, all of which are highly rated, so we expect it to be very high quality.
