Planet Baobab is located close by the main road around 200km east of Maun, north of the Makgadikgadi salt pans.
Originally an overlander staging post, it has developed over the years into a pretty funky little place, offering good low cost accommodation and providing an excellent lower cost way to access the Makgadikgadi.
We typically travel to Planet Baobab by road from Maun, staying in the area for 3 or 4 nights, usually including also camping out at one or both of Ntwetwe Pan Bivouac and Nxai Xini Pan Bivouac
