San Camp is the smaller, simpler version of the better known Jack's Camp, out on the infinite salt pans of Makgadikgadi. Although less obviously cool, many in the know consider San to be the better camp, especially since it is located right on the edge of the pans themselves.
June to November we tend to use San only in longer safaris, after maybe 7 to 10 nights in the more productive game areas of Okavango and Linyanti. December to May however can see large migration herds passing through the area and we often include the camp after just 5 or 6 nights in those other areas.
