The Abu Concession is located to the southwest of the Okavango Delta.
Its northeast sector especially sees a good flood May to September, during which time the camps are able to offer a good mix of wet and dry safari. For the rest of the year this is largely a dry safari area, with a reputation for solid game-viewing.
The only 'regular' safari lodge here is the excellent
Seba Camp.
The other two camps are specialist ...
Abu Camp offering extremely pricey elephant-back safari, whilst
Macatoo Camp operates probably the best horse-back safari in Africa.
