Mombo is undeniably the flagship camp for Botswana. Located on the northwest tip of Chief's Island in the Moremi National Park, this is the epicentre of Okavango delta.
The lodge itself is genuine super-luxury, but unlike so many camps at this level, Mombo continues to attract a really good mix of safari-oriented guests.
The biggest problems in putting together a safari in Botswana are usually high price and lack of availability ... and Mombo does both in spades, so best to plan years ahead.
