Larsen's Tented Camp is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro river inside the Samburu game reserve in northcentral Kenya.
Wilderness Lodges operate a number of larger mass market lodges in Kenya, of which this camp is by far the smallest and most sophisticated.
This camp has 20 guest tents, arranged under good shade along the river. The tented central areas are perhaps a little bland, but as you can see in the slideshows the outdoor lunch is reasonably pleasant. We particularly liked the amount of wildlife in camp, although the askaris may beg to differ.
