Samburu Sopa Lodge is located in the Samburu game reserve of northcentral Kenya.
Sopa is a range of large motel lodges which caters for the middle-market packaged safari customer.
This lodge is positioned in a dry upland area around 5km north of the river, which means that their pumped waterhole does attract some thirsty game. The 60 or so rooms are arranged either side of a cavernous main building and large pool.
A large and reliable, but not particularly attractive lodge.
