Samburu Intrepids is located on the banks of the Ewaso Ngiro river inside the Samburu game reserve in northcentral Kenya.
Heritage Management operates a range of these Intrepids Club lodges in Kenya, designed to service the conventional package tourist market.
This lodge has 27 guest tents, arranged under good shade along the river. The central areas are large and there is a decent sized swimming pool out the back. A kiddie club seems to feature quite prominently, with local Samburu overseeing a catapault competition when we were last passing through.
