Joy's Camp is located in Shaba reserve in northcentral Kenya.
Built on the location of Joy Adamson's tented home, this high specification camp has 10 rather chic rooms, each with its own private terrace, clustered around a natural spring which attracts a good deal of game, especially elephant.
Despite the presence of much larger lodges in the nearby Samburu reserve, Shaba remains a relatively quiet backwater. Joy's Camp is therefore able to act as a genuinely high quality safari retreat, suitable for guests whose first priorities are peace, comfort and relaxation.
