By far the best known stretch of this coast is the world famous Diani Beach, a major package resort destination and therefore generally of little interest to our guests.
Far more alluring are the lodges on the quieter southern stretch of this strand around Kinondo and Gazi and further south the more remote beaches of Msambweni.
The best diving is in the Shimoni area to the extreme south, although a shortage of decent lodges means that this area is best accessed on day trips from further north.
Beaches in the Mombasa South and Tiwi areas are generally of less interest.
Shimba Hills is a small wildlife sanctuary which can provide and interesting diversion.
