Sentrim Amboseli is located just outside the Amboseli reserve in southeast Kenya.
This lodge was under construction when we last visited in August 2008. It is located down the same dusty service road as Kibo Safari Camp and judging by its sister camp Sentrim Samburu, will be a medium specification lodge largely serviced by minibus safaris.
The major downside here is the density of safari traffic in this area, with several lodges outside the reserve and four huge lodges on the inside spilling literally hundreds of vehicles across a relatively small area of very flat and open terrain. Not a pretty sight in high season.
