Maasai Mara

The Maasai Mara is the portion of the Serengeti ecosystem which lies to the north of the Kenya Tanzania border.

The region is best known for its wildebeest and zebra migration, which tends to pass through the area July to October, but many areas offer excellent gameviewing year round.

With over 100 camps in such a small area, traffic avoidance needs to be the number one consideration when planning a decent safari.

Best visited as a combination of two or more camps over at least five nights.
