Little Governors Camp is located on the banks of the Mara river in southwest Kenya.
One of the oldest outfitters in the area, Governors now operates four camps of which this is a mid-range specification. Set around a very pretty lagoon on the west bank of the river, the camp is accessed by boat and does its safari on the east side, so benefiting from the same productive area as the other camps.
We find Little Governors much more pleasant than Main or Il Moran camps, making it a a real contender, although still a little overpriced and falling short of some of the genuine high quality small camps in the adjoining Olare Orok or Confluence areas.
