Kicheche Mara Camp is located on Maasai land to the northwest of the Mara reserve in southwest Kenya.
This eleven tent camp attempts to provide an atmosphere similar to that of a high quality tented camp but at a much lower price. Since the vast majority of guests have not experienced the latter, the mission is effectively accomplished and as a result you would have to go a long way to find such a bunch of satisfied customers.
We are happy to recommend this camp to our customers, although in this price range we do tend to lean towards Olare Lion Camp, which is in a rather better location.
