Malewa Kigio Camp is located 15km to the northeast of Lake Naivasha in the Rift Valley of southwest Kenya.
Situated in the small 1200ha Kigio Wildlife Conservancy, a fenced reserve below the eastern escarpment, this place is a real haven which feels a lot further away from the busy Naivasha area. The ten room lodge, built along the banks of the river, is cool rustic in style and excellent value.
Unfortunately Malewa is accessed off the rather busy trunk road between the busy towns of Naivasha and Nakuru, an area through which we try to avoid overlanding.
