Azura Beach Lodge is located on Benguerra island off the southern coast of Mozambique.
The lodge shares this more southerly island with Benguerra Lodge and Marlin Lodge, the three being by far more suited to complement a high quality safari in Botswana or Namibia than the more mainstream resorts of Bazaruto island to the north.
The lodge suffered a serious fire in late 2008 and is closed. It is expected to re-open around July 2009. More news as we get it.
