Indigo Bay Resort is located on Bazaruto island off the southern coast of Mozambique.
The resort shares this more northerly island with Bazaruto Resort, the two being by far the more mainstream of the facilities in the area.
The resort has 50 rooms and all the usual facilities, from diving to satellite television in the rooms.
In this area we are essentially looking for a beach lodge to complement a high quality safari in Botswana or South Africa, something which this type of resort fails to do, despite the very high price tag.
