Medjumbe is located on a small private island around 2km offshore in the remote Cabo Delgado region of northern Mozambique.
The lodge has 13 rooms and all the usual facilities, from diving to satellite television in the rooms.
In this area we are essentially looking for a beach lodge to complement a high quality safari in Botswana or South Africa, something which in our opinion this place fails to do, despite the price tag.
