Ichingo is located on the south side of the Caprivi Strip, amongst a maze of waterways on the Chobe river.
This is a pretty decent nine room lodge, nicely styled, hosted and guided. It is however located a little too close to the town of Kasane on the Botswana side to serve as a real safari camp.
Ichingo is often sold as a lower cost alternative to wet camps in the Okavango. We feel that in reality the safari is not nearly as good and the location is certainly not as magical and consequently we rarely find reason to recommend it for inclusion in a safari.
