Impalila is located on the north side of the Caprivi Strip, amongst a maze of waterways on the Zambezi river.
This is the leading lodge in the area, a genuinely top quality operation in a decent location away from the busy Kasane waterfront. Mokoro and motorboat safari almost rival some of the best wet camps in the Okavango and it is as a slightly lower cost subsitute for these camps that Impalila is typically included in a high-end safari.
Since most of our trips through this area also include a riverfront lodge in Livingstone and some decent water safari in Okavango itself, we tend to use this lodge relatively rarely.
