Chobe Savannah is located on the north bank of the Chobe river about 5km west of the busy town of Kasane.
The lodge is centred around a huge thatched main building. There are twelve rooms, all with airconditioning and minibars.
The main reason to come here is to the elephant swimming the river. Our personal experience of this activity is that it is terribly soiled by the presence of booze cruise boats harrassing the animals. This lodge is quite a long way upstream from Kasane, so may be out of reach of the worst of this kind of distasteful behaviour.
