In between the town of Otjiwarongo and the Waterberg Plateau a number of large landowners have come together to create a wildlife reserve, the mainstay of which is the Cheetah Conservation Fund.
This is essentially a mimic of the better known animal rescue and rehabilitation project at
Okonjima. As well as visiting the cheetah projects, visitors can also go on nature trails and visit local villages.
There are no accommodation facilities on site and visitors usually stay at the nearby
Frans Indongo Lodge.
We tend to include CCF in trips either in response to a specific request or more often, when
Okonjima is unavailable.
