Frans Indongo Lodge is located in farmland about 20km to the north of the Cheetah Conservation Project, the main reason that guests come to stay.
The place is pleasant in design, a kind of blend between a safari lodge and an Ovambo homestead. The farmland location and features including aircon and satellite television all serve to make this a rather more urban experience than one might have hoped for, but it is comfortable and reasonably well turned out nonetheless.
We occasionally include Frans Indongo in self-drive trips, usually when Okonjima is full or where are are trying to keep a lid on costs.
