Onguma Plains is located in a private concession area adjacent to the eastern border of Etosha National Park.
This lodge is unusual in design, clearly drawing inspiration from the nearby fort at Namutoni. There are 14 rooms of which two are more lavish and higher priced suites. We are not completely convinced but see for yourselves. Sunset views out over the pan are impressive.
We much prefer the nearby Onguma Tented, which has the additional advantage of being cheaper, so we tend to use this lodge relatively rarely.
