Epacha is a private concession area about an hour by road from the South Gate of Etosha National Park.
Epacha Main Lodge is a sprawling facility, reputed to be 'the only five star accommodation in Namibia'. This no doubt will have its appeal to some, for us it is the antithesis of a good safari lodge, with its size and design making it impossible to offer any degree of intimacy or authentic bush experience.
We have never used this lodge and to be honest find it difficult to envisage a set of circumstances where we would.
