Okonjima is home to the renowned Africat animal rescue and rehabilitation project, located roughly half way between Windhoek and Etosha.
Bush Camp is a stylish little place with just 8 rooms and a main building centred around a large waterhole. It represents the mid-priced accommodation at Okonjima and caters for a mix of self-drive and fly-in visitors. Guests are invited to visit the various animal projects, including tracking cheetah and leopard by vehicle and on foot.
We often include Okonjima for 1 or 2 nights at either end of a trip, using Bush Camp when budget permits.
