Vingerklip Lodge is located amongst the interesting erosion scenery of the Ugab river, in an area of little other interest to the southwest of Etosha.
The lodge, although a little mainstream and catering at least in part of coach tours, is nevertheless rather nicely constructed, with sympathetic architecture and spectacular views. The main attraction is the Vingerklip monolith itself, but there are also some walking options including some rock art.
Although a reasonable option, we rarely find occasion to route trips through this area and therefore rarely include this lodge.
