Rundu is a reasonably pleasant little town on the banks of the Kavango river in northeast Namibia.

Most visitors to the town are undertaking the long road traverse through northeast Namibia and the Caprivi Strip and some choose here to overnight.

One major reason that people stop here longer is for tiger fishing.

Since we do not recommend this long road traverse along the Caprivi, we rarely if ever find need to include nights at any of the lodges here in Rundu.
