Hakusembe River Lodge is located just to the west of the town of Rundu, on the south bank of the Kavango river in northeast Namibia.
The lodge is a small mid-range eastablishment, with just seven detached bungalows in a pleasant garden setting. There is also a nice honeymoon suite, which is actually the house of the English owner, a pool and boats for cruising on the river.
Since we do not recommend the long road trip through northeast Namibia and along the Caprivi Strip, we are yet to include this lodge in one of our trips.
