Kavango River Lodge is located close to town of Rundu, on the south bank of the Kavango river in northeast Namibia.
Although there are only fourteen bungalows here, in style Kavango River is more of a restcamp than a lodge, with conference facilites thrown in. Rooms are equipped for self-catering, with braai stands and kitchen facilities. Boat cruises are also offered. Aimed mainly at the South African self-drivers.
Since we do not recommend the long road trip through northeast Namibia and along the Caprivi Strip, we are yet to include this lodge in one of our trips.
