Grootberg Lodge is located on a large private concession just off the C40 road in the remote Palmwag area of northwest Namibia.
This is a pretty simple affair with decent public areas, a pool and 12 detached rooms. Aimed primarily at self-drivers, the lodge offers a range of safari including scenic walks, rhino tracking and horseriding.
We use Grootberg lodge as a lower cost option for the considerably more remote, better quality and higher priced Rhino Camp and Hoanib Camp.
