Palmwag Lodge is located by the main road at the entrance to the superb Palmwag concession in remote northwest Namibia.
In truth this sprawling place is more of a roadside motel than a safari lodge, with two restaurants, a pub, two swimming pools, three different styles of rooms, a campground, fuel station and garage. Having been constructed piecemeal over the years, it really is a bit of a mess. Nevertheless, it does retain a certain outpost atmosphere and old style charm.
We occasionally use Palmwag Lodge either as a springboard for or as a low cost alternative to Rhino Camp and Hoanib Camp.
