Canyon Lodge is located close to the Fish River Canyon in southern Namibia.
The lodge is centred around a rather imposing German farmhouse, originally constructed in 1913. There are twenty six rooms quite interestingly built into the surrounding rocks. The lodge offers guided walking, horseriding and scenic flights over the canyon.
Canyon Lodge is a pleasant enough place and tends to be our usual first choice on the rare occasion that we include this area in a trip.
