Luderitz is a rather windswept little port, the gateway to the forbidden Diamond Coast.
Mostly constructed in the early twentieth century, the town has always had a reputation for being an historic outpost on the edge of civilization. This might be something of an overstatement, in reality the town is more quirky than impressive.
The main point of interest is the ghost town at Kolmanskuppe.
For those few guests who decide that Luderitz is worth the long drive, we tend to use the rather uninspiring
Nest Hotel.
