Solitaire Lodge is adjacent to the fuel station in the small town of Solitaire in the North Namib desert of southwest Namibia.
There are about twenty room located around a central swimming pool and a small restaurant. Simple fare and quite well constructed, but very much in the mould of a roadside motel rather than a real lodge and rather lacking in character.
We rarely use this facility.
