Swartfontein Farm is located at the top of the Spreetshoogte Pass above the North Namib desert of southwest Namibia.
This is a very pleasant guestfarm, probably one of the best in the country, very nicely designed and pleasantly hosted by the Italian owners.
The problem with Swartfontein is its location, too far from Sossusvlei to use as a base, yet too close to use as a stopover. We therefore only very rarely consider this lodge for inclusion in a trip.
