Desert Homestead is located close to the C19 road in the rocky desert adjacent to Sossusvlei in southwest Namibia.
This is actually the second Desert Homestead and wheras the original was a converted farmstead, this version benefits from being completely custom built. Guests can visit Sossusvlei either under their own steam or as a guided trip, as well as going quad-biking, ballooning, walking and horseriding.
Desert Homestead is without doubt the best of the lower cost lodges in the area and works really well for 2 to 3 nights for a self-drive trip.
