Le Mirage is located close to the C27 road in the rocky desert adjacent to Sossusvlei in southwest Namibia.
The lodge is a faux castle, a reasonably interesting and well delivered concept, backed up with decent levels of service. Guests can visit Sossusvlei either under their own steam or as a guided trip, as well as going quad-biking, ballooning, walking and horseriding.
We rarely use Le Mirage since we feel that Kulala Wilderness and Kulala Desert are both much better located, whilst in the lower price level Desert Homestead offers much better value for money.
