Sossusvlei Lodge is located on the C27 at Sesriem, adjacent to the main public campsite and the entrance gate to Sossusvlei in southwest Namibia.
With 55 rooms, this is the largest establishment in the area by some way, this is much more of a hotel than a lodge, mainly catering for self-drivers and bus tours. Nevertheless the design is imaginative and reasonably pleasant.
We rarely use Sossusvlei Lodge, prefering to step up slightly in price to the much nicer Kulala Wilderness and Kulala Desert or to save money at the lower priced and also much nicer Desert Homestead.
