Hansa Hotel is located in the centre of the town of Swakopmund in west Namibia.
Dating back to 1905, this is the oldest and still best of the traditional hotels in town, although that is not necessarily saying a lot. In reality this is a passable upper-middle range hotel with a strong German flavour.
We use the Hansa occasionally, but more often lean towards The Stiltz, which is more innovative, or Secret Garden, which is simpler and cheaper.
