Swakopmund Youth Hostel is located to the south of the historic quarter of Swakopmund in west Namibia.
This is actually a very beautiful building, which used to serve as the old German army barracks. It is incredibly run-down and really not an option to recommend, but if someone could get hold of the building and upgrade it into a guesthouse, this could easily be the most interesting place to stay in the town.
