Gorilla Mountain View Lodge is located close to the Parc National de Volcans in the north of Rwanda, the prime location in Africa for tracking mountain gorillas.
This simple lodge has 20 large rooms built in the local style, rather simple, but comfortable enough and each with private bathroom. The central areas contain a rudimentary bar and restaurant, where the fare is generally pretty reasonable.
Gorilla Mountain View Lodge would appear to be the best lower cost option in the area, a simple place whose rating is lifted greatly by the access that it provides to the mountain gorillas.
