The Aldabra Group lies over 1000km to the southwest of Mahe in the Seychelles, 400km north of Madagascar.

It is comprised of two main atolls, Aldabra and Cosmoledo, with a number of smaller islands including Assumption, where there is a small settlement.

As well as being prime turtle territory, Aldabra is famed as home to the world's largest population of giant tortoises. These stunningly beautiful islands are so incredibly remote that they remain virtually untouched by the outside world and only visited by the occasional cruise ship or liveaboard.

The only accommodation is the fabulous Sea Star 14 liveaboard which cruises for two weeks each April from Assumption to Mahe.
