Alphonse Island Resort is remotely located 450km to the southwest of Mahe in the Seychelles.
There is no doubting that the location is spectacular ... a stunning coconut and white sand island whose reefs enclose a wonderful deepwater lagoon, teeming with marine life.
Alphonse Island Resort however falls somewhat short of its backdrop, with twenty rather bland rooms and unimaginative central areas ... all rather suburban by modern standards. We understand that the place is presently being ripped down and replaced, let us hope that this time they build a place that warrants travelling these incredible distances.
