La Digue Group

The La Digue Group of islands lies around 50km to the northeast of Mahe in the Seychelles.

The largest is La Digue Island itself, an absolutely stunning and populous island, renowned for its outcrops of pink granite on the beaches. It has a very laid back atmosphere and huge range of middle and lower cost accommodation.

Felicite Island is much smaller but equally beautiful, with no resident population but with a huge super-luxury lodge in the pipeline.

The Sisters are two wonderful islands to the north, which offer no accommodation but can be visited by boat from La Digue.

Marie Ann Island is of little interest.
