Banyan Tree is located at the north end of the remote Intendence Bay in the southwest of Mahe island in the Seychelles.
This is a fabulous location. Accessed by a small dead end road from the village of Takamaka, the resort more or less has this superb beach to itself.
The place itself comprises 60 luxury suites and all the facilities that one would expect.
For beach chic here on Mahe, Banyan Tree is almost certainly the best option.
