Victoria is the capital of the Seychelles, located on the northeast coast of the island of Mahe.
It is the main transport hub, being just north of the international airport and containing the jetty for the inter-island ferries. The town itself is pleasant enough, retaining a good deal of old colonial charm, if rather choked with traffic.
On the whole Victoria is not a big enough draw to warrant staying here, but can make for a decent enough diversion when visited from a base elsewhere on the island.
