The eastern peninsular of Praslin is a relatively little visited part of the island, with just a smattering of lodges.
Although across the bay from the major settlement of Sainte Anne the lower coastline feels pleasantly remote and the lovely
Iles des Palmes is one of the best lower cost options on the islands.
The southern tip of the peninsular is not accessible by road, so guests at the rather mainstream
New Emerald Cove and the more upmarket
Round Island Lodge arrive by boat from Sainte Anne.
Over on the eastern side the remote beach at Anse La Blague has just a few modest self-catering facilities.
